2017 has been pretty eventful thus far with waterfall adventures, forest drives, and oceanscape appreciation. Yesterday I went to Cape Schanck in the coastal Mornington Peninsula area because I wanted to try out my new HOYA ND8 filter + Tripod. The light was very bright so even the ND8 had a hard time blocking out the light. As a result, the long exposure was only 3 seconds. Ideally, I would have liked a 15 sec exposure just to make the water more silky and the sky more dramatic. I guess I should return during dusk, when the light is beginning to fade so I can increase the long exposure time.
